Water falls in the Columbia River Gorge
There lot of beautiful waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge. You can visit them in any time of the year.
Multnomah Falls: One of the most famous visiting place in Portland, Oregon. There is a lodge infront of the Multnomah Falls. We have to take exit 31 to Multnomah falls on I-84 hwy for parking or park at the lodge. Currently the parking at the lodge is closed. Sometimes, it is required to get a pass for parking lot. There are trails to go to the top of Multnomah Falls they are Angel’s rest, Devil’s rest, Wahkeena falls, and Larch mountain. You can also see other waterfalls on the hike.

Fairy Falls : Fairy falls is a small and beautiful water falls in the Wahkeena falls loop trail. This trail leads to Mutlnomah falls, Angle's rest trail heads.
Wahkeena falls: We can take exit 22 Corbett or exit 28 Bridal veil on I-84, or exit 31 to Multnomah falls followed by a U-turn leading to the highway. Exit 22 is the exit to the famous Sunset point ‘Vista Crown Point’ and the route has more turns beside having a narrow road. This is the Historic Columbia River highway, it has multiple trail and waterfalls stops, ex: Angel’s rest trail head, Latourell Falls and Bridal veil falls en route. The walk from parking lot is less than half a mile till Wahkeena falls. The Wahkeena Falls trail can take you to Angel’s rest, Multnomah Falls and Devil’s rest places.
Bridal veil falls : This falls is on the Historic Columbia River Hwy. We have to do a small hike to see this waterfalls.
Latourell Falls : This falls is near to Bridal veil falls and on the Historic Columbia River Hwy.
Oneonta falls: It is one of the most adventurous falls in the Columbia River Gorge. A major part of the trail goes through the water stream. There were some big logs of trees on the trail. To continue on the trail, we need to cross the logs. It was not easy to cross the logs beside the risk of it being wet and slippery but people made a way to cross. The water level is 2 to 3 feet depends on the season.
HorseTail Falls : Another water falls on the Historic Columbia river Hwy.
Wahclella falls : This is falls is near to Bonneville dam and on the I-84 highway. It is a 2 mile hike to the waterfalls. The trail passes to the stream from start to the end of the water falls.
Elowah falls: This falls is near to Wahclella falls
Waterfalls in the Eagle Creek Trail: One of the best hiking trail on the I-84. This trail goes to lot of waterfalls and a lake.
